Usability testing

Usability testing is testing conducted by users in order to determine whether the content is understandable and functionality of the website. For this type of analysis will require a group of people that will be asked a series of questions about the website to develop, especially on the visual aspect of it. The results obtained during the conduct of these tests will define and enhance the elements that will work in future. Usability testing consists in turn of two types of litmus tests:

• Initial Test: used to see how the organization of content and design elements chosen, if they are understood by the user. This test is usually done with a drawing descriptive of the site.
• Web Sketch Test: used to see if it is understandable navigation, if the user knows how to reach a particular site the web with the visual elements that are offered. This test is performed with a semi functional web model.
